Description

Large Rococo mantel clock (height 91 cm).Housing glazed on three sides, body on four volute feet. In the base a plastic application of a man with a rooster,on the podium-like crown there is a sculpture of a woman reminiscent of the figure of Marianne. Dark blue Roman and black Arabic numerals on the dial.Boulle technique, probably tortoiseshell. "Marc de la Mare Paris" inscribed on the movement. Functionality untested. Among other things restored, damaged and supplemented.
