Bishop Vanzi (d. 1571) of Orvieto jurist who distinguished himself at the Council of Trent and built a seminary.Apparently first printed at the Aldine Press in 1554 and popular enough to be reprinted into the seventeenth century. A nullity refers to a proceeding with no legal affect due to a fault within.
