handspun wool, natural and aniline dyes
this elegant, finely woven rug features areas of turquoise blue dyed yarn, which according to Mark Winter's research, the reason the Toadlena/Two Grey Hills weavers put turquoise accents in their rugs was to satisfy Willard Leighton, the trader at the Two Grey Hills Post from 1946 until 1959.

The weaving is in overall very good condition. Sides A and B equal in coloration and toning. Minor bleeding and repairs to both ends.
