Description
Victorian, Ebony & Gold Plate Conductor's Baton 1896. Beautiful and fine baton has a gold metal (we believe to be gold plated) engraved shield which is inscribed, " To Robt D. Dodds/A token of appreciation & esteem/ Dec 29 1896/FROM 1st U. Prestn. Congregation of Phila. Tip and end are also engraved gold metal in a Victorian style. This is an exquisite object which would be a fine gift for a conductor.
Dimensions are 16 in h x .5 in w x .5 in d. Condition is very good with a couple of chips on the bottom of the handle and minor surface wear. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
