Description
2 Chinese 19th Century Famille Rose Enameled Porcelains; a large Pot with a Bird, Flowers and Butterflies with 2 sets of loops to the sides for wire handles; together with an ogee shaped Bowl with 3 Cranes and Peaches, the base with 4 character Tongzhi seal mark in iron red. Height of Pot 6 inches (15.3 cm.) X diameter of bowl 5 inches. PROVENANCE: From a private South Carolina collection.
Condition
Light age related wear to each, the Pot with a star crack to side, 3 small glaze gaps at base edge and 1 small chip to unglazed foot ring. The Bowl with 2 short hairlines, 1 with small associated chip to mouth edge.
