Description
Featured in this lot is this 19th century Sioux Indian beaded child's pipe bag. The bag shows naturally dyed buffalo parfleche with a wonderful fringe and trade seed beads of red white heart, chalk white, sky blue, and dark blue coloration. The pipe bag shows wonderful green and yellow ochre natural dyes and is sewn together with sinew stitching. The condition of this pipe bag is good for its age; it shows some fading to the ochre dyes. The measurements of this child's pipe bag are 6 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 1/2".
