Condition
Rectangular example: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition except for a small shallow flake loss at the upper outer rim edge; it has numerous pinhead-size scattered burst air bubbles to the glaze as well as small raised particle inclusions, in the making
Oval Example With Purple Outer Band: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; the most noteworthy condition issue appears to be some wear/rubbing to the gilt band of the central armorial shield and to the outer rim edge, where only remnants of gilding can be observed; there are a few scattered pinhead-size spot discoloration marks to the center of the platter, apparently, in the making, and therefore not of great consequence; the white center appears to be generally scratch-free; length 14 1/2 in.
Oval Example with Gilt Outer Band: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; typical wear/rubbing loss to gilding, notably, along the outer rim edge; the white center appears to be generally scratch-free; there are some scattered pinhead-size spot discoloration marks to the center area and border area of the platter, apparently, in the making, and therefore not of great consequence; length 16 inches
