Antique French Marble Statue Signed Adrien Etienne Gaudez And Dated 1880. He Carved And Exhibited The Same Statue At The Worlds Fair, Paris 1878. This Famous Twin Is Known As La Marchande D Amourť. The Woman Carries Cherubs In And Flowers In A Vessel On Her Back. Floral Element Appears To Be Missing From Left Hand, Which Has Been Repaired. Left Arm Has Significant Repair, And Scuffs Evident In Photos. 2 Cherub Wings Missing. Sugaring To Top Of Sculpture Consistent With Age And The Elements. Chips To Underside Of Base. Sculpture Is 39 Inches High By Approximately 20 Inches Deep. Approximately 5 Feet Tall Including Concrete Base.
