The Aldine: The Art Journal of America, Volume VIII 1876-1877, Centennial Series (24 monthly issues). New York: The Aldine Company, 1877. Profusely illustrated journal. This was the first year where the full page plates had tissue guards. It was also the first bound annual to have the printed general title page done in the Eastlake style. Includes 3 full page plates by Thomas Moran and a 3 page spread on the Juniata River in PA with 4 engravings by him.
