NORTHERN TRUST CO. PRESENTATION ELGIN 17-JEWEL "CRUSADER" 14K YELLOW GOLD-CASED POCKET WATCH, G.M. Wheeler grade 452, pendant-set movement, serial number 26906632, dial having gold-toned Arabic chapter ring, gold-toned seconds subsidiary, and blued-steel spade hands, housed in an open-face 14K yellow gold watch case with engraved initials to back of case cover, exterior cuvette cover with "Elgin / Crusader" and presentation engraving that reads, "PRESENTED BY / THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF / DIRECTORS / TO / Harold H. Rockwell / on his completing an association / of Thirty four years with / THE NORTHERN TRUST COMPANY / JANUARY 15, 1925". Marked to back of movement, interior case cover marked "PAT'S PEN'G / 14 KARAT / 11888 / 71", interior cuvette cover marked "Wadsworth / 14 KARAT / SOLID GOLD". Total weight including non-gold components: 56.1 grams. Elgin National Watch Co., Elgin, IL. Circa 1925. Size 12s.

Very good overall condition with minor wear, minor to moderate surface scratches notably to cuvette cover, some scattered nicks, hands with spots of losses to blued finish, crystal with possibly nicks to interior edge or as-made bubbles.
