ANTIQUE / VINTAGE CARVED SHELL AND STONE CAMEO BROOCHES, LOT OF SEVEN, comprising a gold-toned example with carved shell cameo of a landscape scene featuring a woman sitting under a tree, a sterling silver example with a carved shell cameo depicting the "The Last Supper" after Leonardo da Vinci, a filigree example with a carved shell cameo of the Three Graces, a Victorian gold-filled example with a carved shell cameo of a blindfolded goddess drinking from a cup, a gold-toned example with applied pendant loop featuring a carved shell cameo of a woman with an elaborate hairstyle having cascading curls, a silver-toned example featuring a high-relief carved stone bacchante cameo, and a gold/gold-plated filigree example with three pearls, a single 1.6 mm D round-cut diamond, and applied green-hue leaves featuring a carved shell cameo of a Neoclassical bust. Sterling example marked "925", gold/gold-plated filigree example tested less than 10K fineness, remainder unmarked. Second half 19th/first half 20th century. Landscape cameo example 1 5/8" x 1 7/8" OA.

Cameos in good to excellent overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and marks, possibly having one or a few minute flakes; frames in fair to very good overall condition with wear and other minor to moderate imperfections including scratches, splits, bending, dents, and losses to gold finishes, a few pieces with solder repairs and/or replacements of pin fasteners/clasps.
