AMERICAN / FOREIGN SILVER SPOONS, LOT OF FIVE, comprising a forward-tipped fiddle-handled teaspoon with "GEO. SCHULER" mark, a backwards-tipped fiddle-handled teaspoon with "TMC" maker's mark, a spoon with large hammered bowl and a trifid-type handle with "JS[?]" maker's mark, and a pair of spoons with rat tail bowl backs and notched handle tips having "LF" maker's marks, each with personalized engraving to handle. Each with maker's mark, unknown silver fineness. Total weight: 4.770 ozt. Late 17th/18th/19th century. 6" to 7 3/4" L.
Condition
Fair to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other minor to moderate imperfections including bending, dents, nicks, worn spots, and/or possible repair.
