Mid 19th C. Chinese export service with a large and small teapot, or possibly a teapot and a hot water pot, both these and the covered sugar bowl having good early twisted vine handles with raised floral detail, berry finials, and all pieces with scenes of Mandarins on terraces or in interiors, the floral borders with birds and/ or butterflies. Lush and lively famille rose enamels with gold. Set includes the aforementioned large and small teapots, covered sugar, cream pitcher, ten cups and saucers, and two plates. The two plates are chipped, otherwise no condition issues found including chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Larger teapot approx. 6" H. Plates approx. 7 1/2" diameter.
