DESCRIPTION: An antique large majolica pottery figure sculpture featuring the roman goddess of the hunt, Diana, as a hunter. She is standing proudly in a flowered green dress with her blond hair pulled back while she holds up with her left hand the catch of the day, a colorful large bird. She has a bow in her left hand and is wearing high gladiator style sandals. This sculpture is set onto a dark green and brown glazed base further embellished with high fern leaves. Right above the base on the bottom part of the sculpture there is the engraved marking " BU M 8769".
