Magnificent Qing Period Hexagonal Vase; of well-potted hexagonal section, the sides well painted with boughs of pomegranate, with flowering branches of peony, lotus, and chrysanthemum, with spandrels painted as spiky lotus scrolls rising from linked trefoils encircling the base and ruyi border around the angled shoulders, the splayed foot with detached sprays and a sky-fret border repeated around the shoulder below trefoils, the sides of the tall waisted neck with spandrels matching the body and painted with six different flowers rising from lingzhi sprigs, the cobalt blue of good bright tone with simulated 'heaping and piling'; six-character Qianlong Mark and Qing Period; H: 68 cm, L: 40 cm, W: 40 cm
