The same design in different colors appears in: Karlson, Norman, The Encyclopedia of American Art Tiles: Regions IV and V, Schiffer, 2005, p. 69.
Catalog Note:
The maguey mark was used by Ethel Wilson Harris (1893-1984) who owned and operated successive businesses that specialized in traditional Mexican crafts in San Antonio starting in 1931. Fernando Ramos was responsible for many of the tile designs.

Condition
Cracks to two border tiles. Some glaze skips likely in the making. No other chips, cracks or repairs to the main scene consisting of (15) 6" by 6" tiles. Some areas of cement missing along the edges. The wrought iron base has been recently repainted in a matte black.
