Description
A Pyle-National steam locomotive headlight measuring 14 - 1/2" in diameter, with original curved lens spectacle, silvered reflector, a number board subassembly "6322". Removed from Grand Truck Western Locomotive No. 6322, built by ALCO in 1942. This locomotive was the last operated in Chicago under GTW for a fan trip in 1962. Two-sided number board "6322" subassembly is mounted on a black-painted wood backboard with original fan trip classification flags attached to the board along with one Pyle-National cannonball marker light. All items painted black look to be original paint. Also includes cast iron headlight mounting platform with separately applied "6322" painted number plate that mounts on the smoke box door of the locomotive. Sale includes a photograph of locomotive No. 6322 under steam, with all items shown on locomotive. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: Light: 18" x 21" x 16".
