Description

SSP. Sign is Maker Marked A.G.A Co., Elizabeth, New Jersey. An outstanding example of this Circa 1920's Porcelain Caution Curve Sign. Sign is in outstanding condition, showing incredible color & gloss throughout the field as well as outer cookie cutter edge. Sign shows its original metal housing on the backside as well as brass hardware and bright red ripple glass reflector in the center. Sign shows only the slightest amount of wear in the field, and the Glass Reflector shows a hairline crack at the left which is almost unnoticeable unless looking closely. Sign is mounted to a nicely made Iron Stand that displays the Sign very well. An outstanding, high grade example of this early Porcelain Street Sign that would be near impossible to upgrade. Condition: (9.0+). Dimensions: 70" X 30".
