(Fox, 1996) An original The Simpsons production cel from the personal collection of the voice of Bart, Nancy Cartwright. This cel was used in the 14th episode of the show's seventh season, "Scenes from the Class Struggle in Springfield." The setup consists of three cel layers depicting Selma, Patty, and Marge, over a screen-matching printed background that contains both Marge's and Patty's legs. In this memorable scene, Selma remarks, "I call this one 'fantasy in maroon.'" The setup retains a Fox seal at lower right. The mat is warmly inscribed and signed to Cartwright by Julie Kavner, voice of Marge, Patty, and Selma, "For my surrogate son- with love, Julie Kavner." Measuring 9"x11.5" visible through a 17.25"x20" black wood frame, the cels are in fine condition with minimal production wear. The setup is accompanied by a Fox COA affixed to the reverse of the frame.
