English, 19th century. Two Victorian era circular needlepoint foot stools with beaded detail, depicting the arms of Christ Church and Magdalen Colleges, University of Oxford, on gilded wooden frames. Unmarked. Approx. of one, h. 5", dia. 10.75".

Condition

Some loss of beading (non-distracting) and fading; loss of gilding with scattered cracks; frames are structurally sound.
