Description
Harry S Truman: Infamous "Dewey Defeats Truman" Newspaper. Complete copy of the most famous "error" newspaper of all time, the November 3, 1948 edition of the Chicago Daily Tribune, announcing in a banner headline, "Dewey Defeats Truman." Truman must have been saying, "How sweet it is!" when he publicly mocked the newspaper's publisher who had been a thorn in his side during his entire presidency. Minor chipping at edges, toning and double folds, but overall in good condition. A rare issue.
