Russian lacquer boxes, three pieces with Continental theme including portraits of Napoleon and Louise Vigee- Lebrun, all signed, details include: "Napoleon Bonaparte on Arcole Bridge", after original work by Baron Antoine Jean Gros, signed "Providohin", from the workshop of Sergey Turin, Fedoskino, 5" h. x 4 1/4" w. x 1" d.; smallest box with portrait of the artist Louise Vigee- Lebrun, depicts with paintbrushes in hand, signed at base, 4" w.; and largest box after "Pierro's Embrace" by Guillane Seignae (French, 1870 - 1924), depicts clown taking liberties with young beauty at masquerade ball, by Fomichev, 1" h. x 6" w. x 4 3/4" l., all pieces with wear consistent with age and use.
