A Japanese Bronze Tiger Okimono
Meiji period (1868-1912), a bronze cast tiger in a powerful prowling stance, head raised, his mouth open in a roar with his sharp teeth exposed, tail is raised with slight curve at the end, three Japanese character inscription to underside of tiger's belly, comes together with removable wooden base.
Tiger 10 x 22 x 6 in.; With base 11 1/2 in. x 18 x 7 1/2 in.
