Chinese Qing Dynasty DaoGuang Red & gilt Porcelain Bowl. The bowl has an open mouth, rounded lip rim, thick, deep arced body, raised with round foot ring and slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against red and golden fine color, depicted lotus blossom interspersed foliage and scrolling tendril. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years DaoGuang Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
