Mid 18th Century

The serpentine front variegated red royal marble top with outset front corners, above a pierced frieze centered by foliate C-scrolls framing a stylized armorial, all on double scroll cabriole legs, each carved with a fierce open mouth, scaly dragon entwined around the legs which are joined by leafy C-scrolls and rockwork, on in-scrolled feet.

H. 35 in., W. 57in., D. 24 in.

Condition: Scratches, some loss of paint and gesso, some minor losses of decoration, all commensurate with age, the marble is old but probably replaced.
