A PAIR OF JAPANESE GILT AND VERDIS GRIS BRONZE HAT STANDS, LATE MEIJI PERIOD, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each of cylindrical form and verdis gris patinated sides with top and basebands of archaistic style qilongs alternating adorned qilongs on a diapered ground, enclosing applied gilt floral mons scattered throughout. Height: 15 1/2" Diameter: 5 1/2"
