A PAIR OF JAPANESE EXPORT BLUE AND WHITE EARTHENWARE "GARDEN LANDSCAPE" JARS, MID/LATE 19TH CENTURY, the later wooden lids over a collar with repeating linear motif above ballooned shoulders with applied beast masks over a watery landscape centering a lotus bloom terminating in a wide sparsely decorated band encircling the flaring foot. Height: 21" Diameter: 11" Provenance: Private Collection, Pearland, Texas
Condition
