A GROUP OF FIVE AMERICAN AND GERMAN PRINTS OF NEW ORLEANS AND AUTOGRAPH BY JAMES FENIMORE COOPER, MID 19TH CENTURY, comprising an aquatint engraving portrait of American writer James Fenimore Cooper (1789-1851), engraved by John Chester Buttre (American 1821-1893), framed with an autograph, ink on paper, by the writer, "Your Obedient Servant, J. Fenimore Cooper," verso a paper label, "Framed at Goodspeed's Book Shop Inc., Boston," portrait: 6 3/8" x 4 3/8"; "ON THE MISSISSIPPI," engraving on paper, by James W. Watts (American fl. 1848-1895), showing the St. Louis and Mississippi paddle boats, verso a paper label, "Ball Studio, New Orleans, L.A.," 5" x 8"; "New Orleans," by Alfred R. Waud (English/American 1828-1891), engraved by D.G. Thompson, published by D. Appleton & Co., 1873, 8 3/4" x 11 1/2"; "NEW ORLEANS," published by Hermann J. Meyer (German/American 1826-1909), New York, circa 1850, 5 1/4" x 7"; and, "Der Mississippi bei New-Orleans," by A. Measom Jr., signed in plate, "A. Measom Jr.," after a sketch by Alfred R.
