AN ART NOUVEAU PORCELAIN FIGURAL VASE, BY ROYAL DUX, BOHEMIA, MARKED, LATE 19TH CENTURY, with a pierced open splayed leaf form rim wrapped about a short neck, on a baluster form body flanked by two alluring water nymph beauties with long draping hair held up by double chignons and wearing exceedingly lengthy as well as clinging gowns with long trains continuing down and spreading along the backside, beneath short puffy sleeves and a generous décolleté loosely held up by a single thin strap attached to a matching strap collar, all the while gently caressing a large spade leaf while languidly hanging from the shapely vase sides, over the base with molded dogwood flowers spilling into a shallow swirling molded basin and mounted with a gilt langoustine crawling over the basin rim, verso centering an applied triangular dark pink ceramic label incised with "BOHEMIA ROYAL DUX enclosing an incised oval centering letter "E," and impressed numbers "862."
