Description

England, ca. 1825. Oval platter with dark blue transfer of Sandusky, Ohio with several ships off shore including the "Henry Clay". Titled on back. Some wear on rim and underside, 13.25" x 16.5".

Condition

Light surface residue that will come off, back has stains and darkened crazing. Some edge wear and a small glaze flake, minimal faint knife scratches, two small ones go through the glaze with some staining, one in the sky and one below the Henry Clay (longest is in sky approx. 1/2", the other approx. 1/4").
