1876 PHILADELPHIA CENTENNIAL FIGURAL BUSTS / PAPERWEIGHTS, LOT OF THREE, frosted colorless, comprising two Ruth the Gleaner examples and a William Shakespeare, each embossed with "GILLINDER & SONS" and "CENTENNIAL EXPOSITION" to reverse or to base. Gillinder & Sons, Philadelphia, PA. Fourth quarter 19th century. 4 1/8" to 5" HOA.

Condition
Shorter Ruth the Gleaner with a minute flake to top of bun, otherwise undamaged with a slight purple tint; taller Ruth with a sliver chip to top edge of base; Shakespeare with a flake to one ear and a flake to edge of base. Taller Ruth with a fin along base edge having roughness, as made.
