Description
When Peter Tchaikovsky traveled to Florence, he brought back with him some souvenirs, and decided to compose a musical piece called Souvinirs d'Florence. Natasha Turovsky decided to create a painting based upon the music of Tchaikovsky. Natasha Turovsky is one of the great artists to come from Canada in many generations. Starting as a professional violinist, Natasha discovered visual arts thirty years ago. She decided to pursue her passion by enrolling in the Fine Arts program at Concordia University in Montreal in 1992, where she specialized in painting and printmaking. Natasha Turovsky has had over sixty solo and group art exhibits in Barcelona, Cleveland, Boston, New York, Miami, Hong-Kong and all over Canada. In 2006, together with her father Yuli Turovksy and digital artists Gael Hollard and Marie-Josee Auclair, Natasha made a short film called Pictures at an Exhibition. (Choreographed paintings), an animation based on the paintings she created to the music of Modest Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. Natasha Turovsky is exclusively represented at ART AVENUE GALLERIES, Sarasota, FloridaArtAvenueFlorida.com
