Description
A collection of 29 ancient pottery fragments and items, mostly Near Eastern and Egyptian, several appearing to be from the same piece of pale green glazed pottery. Another pottery fragment reads 'Taken from an Egyptian pyramid, 1899'. Also included are two terracotta spindle whorls, three ancient terracotta tripodal bases, and a lamp fragment. Largest L: 4 7/8 in (12.4cm), W: 2 3/5 in (6.6cm). Ex estate of Lt. Col. Gregory L. and Lt. Cmdr. Mary Hutchison, Washington, DC.
