Description
A large piece of Egyptian linen-wrapping, 3rd Intermediate Period, c. 900 - 700 BC. Tan to brown in color, with dark stains from the resins and oils used during the mummification practice. Nicely presented in a frame with custom information plaque. Swatch: 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 in (11 x 7.3 cm). Frame measures: 7 x 5 in (17.8 x 12.8 cm). Ex BC Antiques, Los Angeles.
