Description
A group of Roman glass bracelets and counters, c. 1st - 5th Century AD. Lot includes 3 Roman glass bracelets, one in translucent turquoise blue glass, another in opaque black glass and the third in translucent green glass, each with vertical ribbing on the outer surface. Largest 2 1/4 in (5.7 cm) in diameter. The balance is a group of Roman calculi or glass counters, several in mosaic glass, one vibrant opaque yellow-green glass, another black glass and a large example in opaque black glass with white line around a central green 'eye'. Largest 2.6 cm in diameter. Ex Malter Galleries, CA.
