Description
Niech ?yje Polska Socialisticzna Republika Rad! [Long Live the Polish Soviet Socialist Republic!], a poster by an anonymous artist. Published in Kiev, 1920, 95 x 41 cm.
This poster arrived at the last minute, so we have had no time to study it in detail. It was, most likely, produced in July or early August of 1920. Lenin, in arguing for the advance on Warsaw, expressed a belief that Polish workers would rise against the capitalists and welcome the creation of a Polish Socialist Republic, so the poster's topic in itself is not really surprising. Whether its production had any direct connection to the activities of the short-lived PolRevCom is unclear.
