Chyortova Sklyanka i Lipetskiy p'yiantsa [Devil's Jar and a Drunkard from Lipetsk], a rayok-style poster by an anonymous artist. Published by Krasnaya Nov' Publishing, Moscow, 1923, 70.5 x 53 cm.
One of the earliest posters of the perennial Soviet campaign against alcoholism, the pervasive social ill that has proved immune to the efforts to curtail it by every Russian regime since ancient times.
