Description
Slovam vnimai, truddogovor ne promorgai [Listen To the Talk, [But] Do Not Forget About the Labor Contract], a poster by an unidentified artist (the poster is signed in the plate, but we could not quite figure out the name). Published by Farm Laborers Union Publishing, Moscow, 1926, 107 x 71.5 cm.
In this poster from New Economic Policy period, a band of woodcutters runs into all kinds of trouble when they allow an employer to sweet-talk them into working without a contract. Their problems are sorted out only after they join the union and learn about labor contracts. The poster's side panels contain the text of a sample labor agreement for woodcutting collectives.
