A 1902 twisted ivory and gold cane. The elephant ivory "L" handle is 1" thick and 4" to the side. It is twist-carved on an angle with a fancy gold-filled end-cap that is inscribed "Xmas, '02". There is a matching 1" fancy gold-filled collar that has three initials for the owner. The shaft is ebony with a 1" bone ferrule. The overall length is 34 7/8" and the condition is very good. It is American and it is a very good decorative example. Estimate: $700-$900.
