mid 19th century, carved and pierced back panel, upper central shell above foliate scroll, upholstered seat with antique red silk velvet, down filled loose bolster seat cushion, pierced front panel stretcher, canted carved cabriole leg with scroll foot, shaped and carved "X" stretcher base.
46 x 20 x 17 in.
Later upholstered seat and cushion with fraying and loss; areas of gilt wear; minor hairline and chipping to frame.
