A pair of late 19th century German porcelain figure groups of the welsh tailor and his wife, each modelled riding a goat, he with a pannier containing two kids on his back, scissors to his hip and pistol by his side and jade green coat, she with pannier containing two young children to her back and a third, baskets of food at her side, each in gilt oval base, under glazed blue plus numbers 84 and 85 respectively. 7" (18cm) high.
Tailor: item held in right hand is missing, below goats chin small chip to one ear of goat, minor rubbing. Wife: left ear of goat missing, both baskets depleated, otherwise sound.
