3RD STATE PEELED BUTCHER PASTE OVER BEATLES RECORD 3rd state peeled paste over of the Beatles infamous "Butcher" album cover. The Trunk cover has been steamed for removal, leaving some glue and label residue. The cover was the result of a dispute between the Beatles and Capitol Records in the 1960s: the Beatles released the "Butcher Cover" which depicted the group wearing butcher smocks, holding chunks of meat and doll parts. Capital Records then issued a recall and pasted another cover over the "Butcher." Size: 12 1/3 sq"
