In this lot is offered a necklace of rare blue Peking glass Dragon Eye beads. The beads are made in a cobalt blue glass with red and yellow "trail work" and Dragon Eyes or Bursts. The trail work around the eyes is spectacular. Once made in a dozens of colors, the blue is one of the rarer colors to find. This type of bead was made in the Qing Dynasty 200-300 years ago. There are 43 beads on this necklace. Each bead is approximately 1/2" round. The beads are strung on red fiber. The necklace measures 22" long. The condition of these beads is very good.
