For your consideration is this 1899 copy of “The White House Cook Book a Comprehensive Cyclopedia of Information for the Home” by Hugo Ziemann (Steward of the White House) and Mrs F. L. Gillette. This book shows cooking, toilet and household recipes, menus, dinner-giving, table etiquette, care of the sick, health suggestions, facts worth knowing, etc. The condition of this book is good for its age, with some wear and staining from profuse usage in the kitchen and some hand written recipes throughout. The measurements of this book are 10" x 8".
