VERY FINE PAIR OF RED-BREAST MERGANSERS by Clarence Fennimore, Wrightsville, NJ. Excellent original paint and unused condition. Hollow construction. Both heads turned slightly right. Raised carved wings and fluted tail carving. Detailed painted feather work to both backs. The drake with comb feather work to sides and ticking to breast. Both with carved combs and glass eyes. Both retain pad weights and rigging. Both signed by maker and branded CGF. A very fine pair of New Jersey mergansers. 300-400
