Description
Group of six pieces of assorted Chinese porcelain comprising: a small floral blue and white ginger jar (Kangxi type mark), octagonal-form blue and white bowl decorated with flaming pearls (Chenghua type mark), sang de boeuf oxblood bowl decorated with three blue koi (mark blurred), turquoise ground bowl with reserves decorated with ducks (mark blurred), turquoise ground famille rose bowl decorated with florals (mark blurred), and a small divided footed yin-yang-form dish decorated with butterflies, florals and bats (unmarked). The two turquoise bowls retaining older paper labels. Provenance: From a Private Collection, Birmingham, AL, by descent; acquired in China between 1901-1926. Approx. of the ginger jar, h. 6", dia. 4.75".

Restoration to lip of ginger jar; blue and white bowl with chip to rim; oxblood bowl with stable internal crack; turquoise duck bowl with two stable cracks; scattered chips to divided footed dish; most with firing and glaze imperfections;
