Description
Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic handcrafted conical ceramic cup covered with glaze in yellow, brown, and beige shades. Signed by the artist with initials, L. H., and numbered, 8411, on the bottom. Circa 1920s - 1940s. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments. The auction paper labels on the bottom.
