Description
A Roman, black-glazed fragment, likely from an oil lamp, 1st - 2nd Century AD, depicting a well-preserved theater mask and a stylized palmette. 2 3/8 x 1 1/2 in (6 x 3.8 cm). Light deposits. Ex Bonham's, April 2014; Ex Richard Menendez collection, San Francisco, acquired in the early 1990s.
