Description
A group of 4 Greek black-ware cellars and an Etruscan pedestal dish. The Greek cellars, c. 4th Century BC, with nice black slip and flared ring feet, largest 3 1/4 in (8.3 cm) in diameter. Also in the group is an Etruscan black-ware pedestal dish, c. 5th Century BC, with tall, flared foot and glossy surfaces with light deposits. 2 1/4 x 4 1/8 in (5.7 x 10.5 cm). Each have had surfaces cleaned, a couple with antique touch ups to glaze. Ex UK private collection acquired from Herakles Numismatics and Antiquities, Munich in early 2000's; previously belonging to a German private collection formed in the 1970's.
