Description

pate de verre, castAntoine Leperlier was born in Evreux, France, and has been working with glass since he learned the technique of pÃ¢te de verre from his grandfather, FranÃ§ois DÃ©corchemont, in 1968. He received a degree in Philosophy and Fine Art from the Ecole du Louvre in Paris, France, and in 1981 was awarded the Foundation de France award. In 1994 Antoine Leperlier was recognized as a â€œMaitre dâ€™Art” (a living national treasure). He currently lives in Conches en Ouche.
